This week, the Porvoo team was busy at the loading dock. We are proud to announce the successful shipment of a complete wastewater treatment line to our valued client in Brazil.

The container is packed with two critical pieces of equipment: a Sand Removing System and a massive 90-Plate Chamber Filter Press.

Why Did the Client Choose This Combination?

Our Brazilian client operates in an industry with highly abrasive sludge (likely Stone Processing or Mining). They faced two common problems:

Step 1: The Sand Removing System (Protection)

Before the water enters the main system, it passes through our Square Vibrating Screen (Sand Remover). This machine efficiently separates coarse sand and stone chips.

• Benefit: It acts as a “bodyguard” for the filter press feed pump, significantly extending its lifespan.

Step 2: The 90-Plate Chamber Filter Press (Dewatering)

Once the heavy sand is removed, the remaining sludge is pumped into our heavy-duty Chamber Filter Press. This unit features 90 filter plates, providing a massive filtration area.

• Benefit: It processes large volumes of sludge quickly, producing dry, stackable cakes and crystal-clear recycled water.
